May kuryente! (there is electricity!) [Sep. 29th, 2006|11:34 pm]
Nawa'y maunawan ninyo.

Warning: The following statements are also translated into the English language in order to help readers who have difficulty understanding our national language. Please bear with us.

(ehem)

Ayos!

(uh-hurmm)

Alright! we have electricity again! It's not that its too much of a hindrance to not have electricity for my everyday life, but it does make things easier. Most of you probably don't have any electricity at home, which means no electric fans, fridges, computers and cellphones (if you happen to run out of batteries). And I am here at home, chilling, drinking cold water, watching Maala-ala mo Kaya (there's nothing else to watch), typing away, and texting. It's not that I'm bragging, I even think that its good to sometimes have a change in our daily routine. Whay don't we take this time to keep away from the noise that technology makes? Isn't it funny that while other peple in the world still thinks that people here consists of farmers and fisherfolk, we can't wait for cable TV to be available,
until we could charge our Ipods, until we could surf the net, and to use the microwave? You know, I think we're too priviledged to be "third world"

PS: It's sad to witness those who are terribly affected by this hurricane/typhoon Milenyo. It truly is a great tragedy, and in my whole life i have never experienced such a calamity. Although it is comforting that the people has been more helpful, sympathetic and patient in rebuilding our lives . This is a trait that I am very much proud of. Now I understand why "Mabuhay" is our greeting, Mabuhay ka Pilipino!

welcome to kurdapyoland [Sep. 14th, 2006|12:17 am]
teet-ti-tidlititli!

well here I am, perhaps another one of those people who writes blogs to maybe find comfort in the idea that my ideas are someone elses, or maybe I am stupid. either way, I will blog. I believe this is an opportune time to describe myself the way I would like. I am a 5 foot 3 one hundred sixty five boy who plays bass and dreams of being a multimedia genius (but of course I am a long way from being there). I love making fun of myself. I love noticing things about people close to me. I secretly want a lot of things I will eventually admit to everyone. I don't keep MY secrets, but I am not open about everything to just anyone. I love trying to spell things out and getting it right the first time. I love to weigh options. I must admit to love hanging out and be useless. I love juffy, and yes I do want to marry her someday. In addition, I love doodling with her, and she is my partner with everything. I love my family, I love working, I love recognition (pero hindi pag sinabi sa'kin "Astig", para kasing hirit yun kapag walang ibang maisip). I hate being forced to do things, but i love favors.I love good old rock and roll, but now I am leaning towards jazz (I don't know what kind). I hate genres. I love inspirations.
